DISTRIBUTION: My site, my Yahoo Group, my ProBoard, my Network54, FanFiction.net and my LiveJournal. Anyone else, please just tell me where it's at.
DISCLAIMER: I don't own any characters from Witchblade, they belong to Warner Brothers, Top Cows, Halsted Pictures, FOX, Chris Carter, etc. No profit is made.
RATING: FRT / PG13
SPOILERS: General Witchblade spoilers and X-Files Season 1, ICE. I would say this is set later in Season 1 when Ian's loyalty to Irons had started to waiver a bit when it came to Sara.
SUMMARY: Sara Pezzini realizes that Kenneth Irons is messing with something he has no business being involved with.
CHARACTERS/PAIRING: Sara Pezzini, Ian Nottingham (mentions of Kenneth Irons and brief ones of Fox Mulder & Dana Scully)
STATUS: Complete
DATE WRITTEN: November 2008
WORD COUNT: 2,807
FEEDBACK: Please, I can't write better without it.
NOTES: This is written for LJ community: xfileyourfandom. I was assigned the episode ICE. Unfamiliar with the episode or need to have your memory refreshed as it was from Season 1: Ice summary

Posting of stories for the
xfileyourfandom challenge is officially open on Monday, November 3!
A few things:
- You have until November 10 to post, at which point I will put together a master list of submitted stories.
- You can also post at any time after November 10, because I do not believe in oppressing awesome crossover X-Files fic. I may or may not get the master list updated, though.
- Having your story beta read before posting is not a requirement, but it is strongly, enthusiastically recommended. At the very least, spell check is, while not perfect, a very good friend.
- You can post your story in the community, or post it in your LJ with a post here linking out to it.
- Things to put in the header of your post:
Title:
Author:
Fandom: (i.e., SGA/X-Files, or Bandom/X-Files etc.)
Pairings/Rating:
Warnings/Spoilers:
Author's Notes: (optional)
Summary:
You can also specify in the header which X-Files episode you used as a prompt, but if you feel that would spoil for something that happens in your story go ahead and put an extra author note at the end of the story. Just let us know somewhere which episode you used, because that's part of the fun of the challenge, seeing what people do with familiar episodes. (Okay, that's part of the fun for me. But maybe for other people, too!)
- Any questions, ask them here or send me a message via LJ. I'll get back to you asap.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you all have come up with!

Sign-ups for the X-Files AU-a-thon begin today!
The official sign-up period will run through September 29. You can sign up at any time prior to the due date (November 3); however, if you're not sure if you'll participate but you think you might, please sign up now anyway! I'd like to have some idea what kind of participation we might be looking at.
Sign up one of two ways:
If you know what X-Files episode/movie you want to use
Leave a comment in this post with the following information:
Name:
Fandom:
Fic or Art:
Episode/Movie Title:
If you want me to assign you an episode
Leave a comment in this post with the following information:

Fandom:
Fic or Art:
Pick a number between 1 - 9:
Within a couple of days I will reply to your comment with the title of an episode, a short summary of the episode, and a link to a wiki entry on the episode. You'll use that as your prompt.
Important: More than one person can choose a particular episode! Also, you can choose more than one episode, BUT you would then have to write one story per each episode. (Unless you choose a two-parter, in which case that would count as one episode.)
( Other stuff: )
Any questions, please ask!

Welcome to the multi-fandom X-Files-AU-a-thon! The challenge is to create an AU (fic or art) in some fandom not The X-Files based on an X-Files episode or movie.
All fandoms are welcome, and submissions can be gen, het or slash. AUs can involve anything from importing characters from your fandom into the X-Files universe to exporting elements of the X-Files universe into your fandom.
( For example... )
The main rules are: the submission must incorporate a fandom other than the X-Files; the other fandom must play a significant role; and the submission must be based on a specific X-Files episode or movie. Also: have fun! That's a must!
( Other Rules and Deadlines )
The sign-up post is here.
If you have any questions at any time, please ask them here!
